Wavy Curly Maple Winged Bowl

This is the first piece in my new wavy collection - a curly maple bowl turned with a thin, winged-style rim.  After I turned the bowl, I steamed the wood and put the bowl in a specially designed press to achieve the wavy rim shape. I think the wonderful curl combined with the unique  wavy shape creates a nice piece for any decorative setting.  Hand finished with all natural, non-toxic walnut oil. 13"x3".
