Tall Ambrosia Maple Vase

The boring into a tree by the Ambrosia beetle is certainly a threat to the tree, but the peculiarities that result are always a treat to a woodturner like me.  Most people don't like wormy maple, but I see it as nature's art that can't be replicated.  This tall vase is generous in size and has an undercut rim that allows the character and attributes of the Ambrosia to flow out over the rim.  Hand finished with all natural, non-toxic walnut oil . 17"x9".
