Sold - Spalted Natural Edge Hard Maple Vase

This large vase contains all stages of the life of a tree - live wood, spalted wood (early stages of decay) and rot that has resulted in large voids.  And if that is just not enough character for you, it also has curly figure! Turned into a classic form, this piece is truly special, originating from some  remarkable wood. Hand finished with a clear shellac, it meaures 13"x14".
