Large Curly Spalted Maple Platter

Another large curly maple platter in this collection simply bounds with spalting - fungus that is the beginning of decay. I like to call it Mother Nature’s art, as something so beautiful can result from natural decay. This piece measures 17”x11.5” and is hand finished with all natural, non-toxic walnut oil and wax blend.
