This beautiful natural edge burl bowl has an unbalanced rim which creates a uniqueness that just invites you in. Derived from a large red oak burl collected in Corinth, NY, this piece has been fumed to give it a nice chocolate color. Fuming is a process that involves creating a chemical reaction between ammonia and the acids in the red oak, resulting in the darker color.  Hand finished with all natural, non-toxic walnut oil.  6"x6".
