Flamed Birch Platter

This platter is another part of a series of flame birch pieces that derived from a yellow birch here in the Adirondacks. The tree might be common, but the figure and flame are quite rare! This beauty can stand alone as a piece of modern art, or serve as a useful tray to hold various items. Hand finished with all natural, non-toxic walnut oil and a blend of carnauba wax and beeswax, it measures 12"x 7.5".
