Flame Birch Platter

Flame Birch is curly birch that has a pattern that looks like a flame.  I look high and low in our Adirondack forest for this uniquely figured wood, as the figure and grain really catches the eye and stands out. This particular platter is part of a collection and is turned thin with a rounded bottom, making it ideal to display an item in the center.  Hand finished with blend of all natural, non-toxic walnut oil, carnauba wax and beeswax. 8"x11".
