Sold - Curly Spalted Maple Winged Bowl

This winged bowl was turned from a "cut off", a chunk of wood that had been cut from a larger piece and was originally in the scrap pile .  Triangular in shape, this particular piece has some spalting and heavy curl figure. It is turned thin and flat with a shallow cup that is intentionally off-center to create a different style, perfect for decorative use or your favorite dipping sauce! Hand finished with all natural, non-toxic, walnut oil and top coated with a beeswax, carnuaba wax, and walnut oil blend which gives it a soft feel. Measures 11" x 10".
