Black and Gold Vase

This decorative, textured vase has a base color of black and is gilded with gold paste. It is a result of many hours of carving and a fun departure from my normal turning.  Standing 13" tall,  it also has a slightly wider mouth, which is large enough to insert a glass or plastic container to hold water for fresh flowers.
